C2K Consulting was founded by
Richard Bevan in 1995. Drawing on a network of experienced professionals in
change management, human resources, organizational communication and employee
research, C2K assists organizations define, understand and manage change.
Recent projects include the following.
Merger integration advice, ranging from facilitating transition
team meetings through development and deployment of communication materials and
processes.
Leadership assessment, feedback and coaching.
Communication support for culture and reward system changes.
Organizational structure and process improvement in a service organization,
through employee and management research and assessment, employee involvement,
and leadership coaching.
Mission and strategy development, clarification and communication.
Process support (facilitation, integration of multiple inputs, training
materials and processes) for major organizational change.
Human reactions and performance - the so-called soft side of
change - often
receive limited attention during change ("we can't waste time and resources
holding everybody's hand" is a recurring theme).
Executives and managers may
not be comfortable dealing face-to-face with the volatile and emotional
reactions and behaviors that are generated by major change. They communicate
through print or other media; listen to inputs filtered through several layers
of management; and may be under-informed about customer and employee reactions.
Some may make plans and reach decisions with a small group that is distant or
insulated from the day-to-day reality of the change. As Roger D'Aprix commented
in his book Communicating for Change, "a
hazard of the leader's job is becoming trapped in the office".
C2K assists
organizations in identifying and responding to the needs, concerns and ideas of
employees and other stakeholders. We help organizations understand, create and
integrate change.
